A mammogram not done properly can sever the coopers ligaments inside the breast that attach from the clavale to the skin and make that cone shaped, keeping them firm and in shape. If the coopers ligaments are stretched the tissue won't be contained and pool to the sides of the rib cage and even the back. I had this happen instantly in 2016 and I still have it.
